Aston Martin is one of the teams that have been linked with the ex-boss. Cowell revealed he had checked the circumstances with team owner Lawrence Stroll this past Friday at the Singapore GP. "It looks as though Christian is ringing up pretty much every team owner at the moment," said the executive. "I can unequivocally confirm there are no intentions for the engagement of Christian in an leadership or investment capacity in the future." Additional Squads Comment The US-based squad team principal Ayao Komatsu disclosed that the ex-chief had "reached out to" the Stateside organization but continued: "Nothing has gone any further. It's over." The French manufacturer top official Steve Nielsen stated the organization's advisor and de facto boss Flavio Briatore was "old friends" with the ex-boss. The Alpine director added: "I'm unaware what they converse about. What I understand is there are no intentions for Christian to arrive at Alpine but that doesn't mean it won't happen." Williams team principal James Vowles confirmed that Horner had not approached them. "We're very happy with the setup we have and it's functioning," the team principal said. "I see no justification to modify it." Previous Developments Horner is eligible to rejoin Formula 1 by the middle of next year after finalising a separation agreement with the energy drink company on 22 September. The veteran motorsport figure was fired as Red Bull's chief after the British GP in summer. Several informants at the organization have indicated the agreement deal was worth €60 million (52 million pounds).
